These questions are either things I have been asked during the previous incarnations of Great Gospel, or questions I am expecting to be asked in future. Please select a question below to see the answer.

Would you like to link exchange or affiliate with my site?
I have currently linked to only a small number of Final Fantasy character sites, all of which are of exceptional quality and have been around for many years. This is because I don't want to get into a situation where I am forced to check my links every month just to be sure all the sites listed still exist (I have noticed that many new sites have very short shelf-lives). I am willing to except link exchanges from Final Fantasy character sites which are of very high quality in both content and design, and are intended to be available online for a long period of time. If your site fits the bill please email me. If I am really impressed with your work I may ask you to affiliate with Great Gospel.

Can I use the images from this site for my own projects?
I have no problem with people using images from this site to create layouts, wallpapers, avatars and similar media as long as credit is given. However, I will not give permission to those who wish to fill their own galleries with my images. I took each and every screen capture on this site, and let me tell you it was a very long and boring job! Most of the images found on this site cannot be found anywhere else, so I will notice if you mirror my galleries, even if you remove the watermark! Please respect the hard work I have put into this site, and don't use the images for this purpose. If you do end up making a media form with an image from the gallery, send me a link as I'd love to see your work!

Can I use your information/coding for my own site?
Under no any circumstances will I allow you to use either the information from this site or the coding used to create it, for your own web-projects. It has taken a lot of time, money and effort to research and write all the information housed here, not to mention the time taken designing the layout and making sure the coding used meets web and accessibility standards, and I do not appreciate attempts to freeload off my hard work. If you plagiarize you just end up looking unoriginal and unintelligent, and if I find my layout or chunks of text I have written on any other site I will not take it lightly!

Can I make a submission of information or fan works to the site?
Fan submissions of media such as wallpapers, avatars, icons, fan art and fiction are all very much appreciated, but they must be of a good standard. Please email me with the submission including your name, email and web address (if you have one) so I can provide proper credit to you. With submissions of information I am a little pickier. Please include full details of the original source of the information, so I can begin researching it myself. If I feel the information if appropriate for the site, and is genuine, I will post the article with credit given where it's due.

Can I make a suggestion for a new article?
I've done my very best to cover as much information on Aerith and Final Fantasy VII as possible, but if you feel there is something I have missed please let me know and I will consider including it. Please note I have no intention of including articles that prove or disprove love-triangles!

Will you make a layout for me?
This may come as a surprising answer to this question, but yes I will... but not for free. I am in the process of setting up a commercial design website so for the time being please email me. My prices for non-commercial websites are very reasonable, starting from $20. However if you find you cannot stretch to this, I am also planning to offer a range of pre-made designs that are free for use. Watch this space!

Some of your information is wrong!
I have researched all the information presented on this site as factual extremely thoroughly. I have used sources that other shrines to the character have not had access to, so you may come across some information you have never seen before but that doesn't automatically mean that it's incorrect. As for information on this site that is based on my own interpretation of events, for every point I have made I have made sure I have enough in-game evidence to support my claims.

I can't read some of the symbols on this site!!
On this site Japanese lettering is occasionally used to emphasise a point, if you are unable to see them through your browser it may be because you do not have Japanese fonts installed, though if this is the case your browser will more than likely prompt you to download these. However, the Japanese lettering on this is site is only used quite rarely, so it should not detract from your experience too much by not being able to see it.

Can you translate something for me?
I'm afraid my Japanese is only in its very early stages. I really wouldn't feel comfortable translating something for someone else while my skills are quite basic. Ask again in 12 months!

There are many reasons for why I abandoned this site, why I returned after nearly 5 years and why I chose Aerith in the first place, and these can all be read in the site history.

What is your opinion of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation?
To be honest with you, aside from Advent Children which was ok, I have been completely unimpressed with the Compilation and pretty much everything that SqaureEnix has released since its merge. It seems like such a shameless, hollow cash-in. They keep saying they won't make a PS3 remake, but after seeing the relentless flogging of a dead horse called Final Fantasy VII I would be very surprised if they didn't. However just because I don't approve of the Final Fantasy VII Compilation, it doesn't mean I won't be providing full coverage of it where necessary on this site. In fact this paragraph will be the only negative statement you will find on the subject.

What is your opinion of Kingdom Hearts?
I don't mean to offend anyone by this statement, but I am really not a fan of Kingdom Hearts. I like Disney and I like Square but I find the two of them together absolutely unbearable. However, just because I don't like Kingdom Hearts doesn't mean I won't do my best to cover it in an unbiased way, you won't find anymore rants about it. Please don't hold my opinion of these games against me or this site; we can't all be the same or like the same things all the time!

What is your opinion of Tifa Lockhart?
I used to really like Tifa; I even had a site on her back in the old days. But I was a whingeing angst-ridden teen back then, with a bleeding heart and no confidence, and I found I could relate to Tifa's quite brooding love and shy personality far more easily than Aerith's in-your-face flirting and abundant confidence. But now I've grown up, and I've gained the confidence I always envied in others and I'm also a terribly manipulative flirt! Now I find Tifa's behaviour slightly pathetic and even mildly irritating. I can no longer relate to her and see her as a quite emotionally weak young woman, though I can appreciate her ability to empathise with others. I don't consider myself anti-Tifa in anyway, I just find myself more indifferent towards her now I'm in my 20's.

What pairing is this site affiliated with?
I'm a little too old to really care who videogame characters are involved with, and so this site does not affiliate with any pairing directly. Though I have to say, I think the fact that Aerith dies in the game and does not return to life sort of puts a dampener on any chance of a Clorith romance. However, I do have a personal preference for AeriSeph fan fiction but that's just because I have a dirty mind and a taste for lemon...
