Aerith's chosen weapon, like most magic based characters in the Final Fantasy series, is the Rod or the Staff. Below is a list detailing the statistics and locations of all the weapons available to Aerith during the game. The Wizard Staff can be found in a treasure chest on the Mt. Corel Railroad. It can also be brought from the Inner Junon weapon shop from Disc 2 onwards, though by this point of the game it is a rather useless purchase.

This moderately powerful weapon can be obtained very early on in the game by stealing from an Eligor in the Train Graveyard. If you miss this opportunity you can also purchase this staff later in the game from the weapon dealers in Inner Junon and Gongaga for 1300 Gil. It also can be stolen from Chimeras in the desert around the Gold Saucer.

Aerith's 'gag' weapon is actually her most powerful, and also the hardest to obtain. You will receive the Umbrella, or Parasol, after achieving over 5000 points on the Shooting Coaster in Gold Saucer; not an easy task. The parasol is available as a prize at Speed Square on Disc 1 only.
