It is particularly interesting that Aquarians focus their attentions to "making the world a better place", as even before teaming up with Cloud and the other members of Avalanche Aerith dedicated a lot of her time to growing and selling flowers in the slums, in order to bring a little beauty to the drab lives of those living under the plates of Midgar.
In addition to her slightly eccentric sense of humour, Aerith also shares the trait of unpredictability with her fellow Aquarians; her final decision to depart alone, and in secret, to the Forgotten Capital was unexpected. As was her murder that followed shortly after.
